About LEP Solutions

Background

My name is Clare Porteous. My background is in providing high quality testing solutions and delivering top class software. My roles have varied from Test Analyst and Senior Test Analyst to Test Team Leader and Defect Manager.

Having worked on both largescale projects and in an application support environment, I have built the necessary skills to handle day to day small changes, high profile bug fixes and also testing invaluable new functionality. Working extremely closely with business owners and business testers, I have built very useful techniques surrounding business analysis which compliments my role in testing perfectly. I have lead and inspired numerous test teams throughout the project life cycle to deliver quality functionality on time and within budget.

I have worked in IT since 2009. After working hard for many years to build up a wealth of knowledge and a number of essential skills, LEP Solutions was born.

Take a look at the 'Services' page to find out what skills and expertise I can offer you.

A little more about Clare

I am the Director of LEP Solutions. I have a passion for quality and improving myself and the things around me in any way I can. Back when I was 19 and I realised that this could be put into a successful career (and after months of unintentional user testing/suggesting enhancements for the company I was working for), I made the move into IT as a Junior Test Analyst.

I love good food (anyone who knows me will vouch for how much I enjoy food), travelling, reading nutrition books, keeping fit with running and cycling, fancy shoes and music. A lot of my time is also spent on LEP Solutions and making it a success.

Thanks for taking a look at the site. I'd love to help get more projects successfully over the line so please do get in touch. Details can be found on the 'Contact Us' page.
